Hello! My name is Mr. Welter, and I have been blessed to join the St. James family as a middle school English and Language Arts teacher through the Alliance for Catholic Education program at Notre Dame. I am originally from a small town near Champaign, IL, which is about 3 hours south of Chicago, and before joining ACE I studied journalism at the University of Missouri. When I'm not teaching or studying, I love playing and watching sports, reading, and playing card/board games.
